RF Central to unveil 2GHz HD upgradeable receiver

RF Central will introduce its new RFX-RMR-II 2GHz rack-mounted receiver at HD World 2007 next week in New York City.

The unit offers complete HD upgradeability with the latest high-quality, low-delay HD decoding technology.

The RMR-II will receive both SD and HD signals and output composite video, SDI (HD) or DVB-ASI, depending on the source. Featuring an array of audio capabilities, including analog, digital and fully embedded audio outputs, the RMR-II is designed for central receive sites, ENG and fixed link applications. The RMR-II offers robust RF performance with exceptional adjacent channel rejection and is built with a fully upgradeable COFDM decoder.

Demodulation modes include QPSK, 16-QAM and 64-QAM with auto detection.
