RASILIENT announces 64-bit multicore RAID arrays

RASILIENT Systems has announced its new RASTOR 3500/7500/8500 family of 64-bit multicore, AMD-based enterprise RAID arrays.

The third-generation RASTOR 3500/7500/8500 products extend the line of RASILIENT's zero-downtime RASTOR architecture while offering high-capacity, high-performance, flexible storage to the OEM and ISV markets.

The products incorporate redundant active/active controllers, redundant fans, redundant power supplies, completely passive/removable midplanes and toolless chassis.

The RASTOR 3500/7500/8500 systems also come with multicore controllers, high-density 2RU/12D chassis, more capacity via SAS expansion using RASTOR 200e expansion enclosures and flexible IO options.
