Quantel launches Eiger software for eQ and iQ

Quantel will introduce Eiger – the latest toolset release for its eQ and iQ systems for post and digital intermediate (DI).

Eiger – an acronym for effects, imaging, grading and editing release - adds many capabilities to the systems.

Eiger compositing tools include new process tree ergonomics, motion sensitive blur, layer blend modes and a new mesh-based warper.

Eiger also introduces Quantel’s new UniKey system, multi-format, multi-colorspace precision keying toolset. New software algorithms are powered by Quantel’s hardware and its Resolution Co-existence and Dynamic Rounding technologies.
