Pixelmetrix unveils VISUALmpegPRO

Pixelmetrix has introduced VISUALmpegPRO, which integrates the company’s VISUALmpeg elementary stream and video quality analyzers, to boost consistency in data verification.

The VISUALmpegPRO allows for visual inspection of all aspects of MPEG video coding, from bit rate to macroblock motion vector analysis. Attributes of the VISUALmpegPRO include Quantizer Values, Picture Frequencies, MPEG Artifacts, Frame Quality Index, DCT Coefficients and Error Logger.

The product supports detailed analysis of MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 Part 10 video.

The VISUALmpegPRO provides several measures for video quality and covers the detection of a broad range of video distortion and quality degradation. The analyzer offers a MOS (Mean Opinion Score) rating system that provides a correlation between a displayed frame and its corresponding quality.
