Two can be installed alongside each other in a single 19-in. rack. With an L cassette, the AJ-SD255 provides up to 184 minutes of recording time. The VTR is equipped with two PCM audio recording channels. VTR controls are accessible via a joystick.

The AJ-SD255 will be available in spring 2005.
