OpenCube to highlight updated MXF toolkit

At NAB2007, OpenCube Technologies will demonstrate the next generation of its MXF tools for streamlining HD and SD workflows.

OpenCube's updated MXF toolkit simplifies integration at any stage of the workflow — from content creation to broadcasting — including post-production and archiving. The company's software tools, including its MXFTk Toolbox, support the MXF file format.

Made up of a multiplatform C++ SDK, graphic applications and viewer, the MXFTk is a toolkit that enables interoperability in media exchange and metadata management.

The new MXFTk v2.0 features include the management of MXF files with external references from Op1a to Op3c, the support of MXF D-Cinema formats based on MXF DCP creation and interoperability with most camcorders, nonlinear editors and broadcast servers.
