OmniBus Systems iTX receives honor recognition from AIB

The OmniBus Systems iTX has won the 2007 Gear of the Year award presented by the Association for International Broadcasting (AIB) at its Media Excellence Awards in London, the company announced.

The awards recognize technology and productions that demonstrate excellence in broadcasting across national boundaries.

The panel of 16 judges from media companies around the world commended iTX for its approach to production and playout. The OmniBus iTX is a software-based broadcast production and transmission solution that uses standard IT hardware and software technology to provide all the functionality of a traditional broadcast playout chain integrated into a file-based environment.
