OmniBus highlights Opus suite of content management tools

At IBC2004, Omnibus Systems showed Opus, a suite of tools based on its G3 architecture designed to help broadcasters implement cost-effective, enterprise-wide content management.

The individual elements of Opus enable broadcasters to view, modify, track, archive, and transmit their content and ensure that operators at every stage of the broadcast process are presented with the precise media and tools they need via a concise, consistent interface.

Opus facilitates the seamless integration of business, production and transmission systems, enabling OmniBus to provide highly specialized content management solutions targeted to the diverse requirements of television stations around the world.

Opus is designed to allow broadcasters to select appropriate technology from both OmniBus and other suppliers to build best-of-breed systems to suit their operational requirements and budgets.
