OmniBus adds SD, HD browse capability to iTX

OmniBus Systems will unveil iTX version 1.1, which includes frame-accurate D1 resolution browse capability for SD and HD content, at NAB2007.

iTX's browse capability is based on iTXcode technology from IPV. iTXcode, which is based on IPV's SpectreView product suite, accepts file-based HD or SD content and transcodes multiple clips to low-bit rate Windows Media 9 (WM9) VC-1 format at full D1 resolution, with frame-accurate time code, scene detection and logo burn-in.

iTXcode's streaming engine can serve results for desktop viewing for a large number of concurrent users, enabling workflows for editing and repurposing output without having to move and decode HD content unnecessarily.

See OmniBus Systems in NAB booth SU5413 or visit www.omnibus.tv.
