Nucomm to feature CC-1 wireless camera control unit

Nucomm will highlight its CC-1 wireless camera control unit designed for use with its CamPac 2 HD/SD COFDM camera-back transmitter during IBC2008.

The CC-1 expands the features of the CamPac 2 (CP2) through a software-based data interface that allows the CP2/CC-1 combo to work with various camera manufacturers’ control panels and command protocols.

The CC-1 uses the camera manufacturer’s original remote control or operations control panel. It also gives users access to all of the features and menus of the original control panel. The CC-1, which also offers remote control capabilities over the CamPac 2, is available for either licensed 450MHz or unlicensed spread spectrum 900MHz use.
