NRK acquires Ross multidefinition production switchers

Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) has purchased seven Ross Video Synergy 2 multidefinition digital production switchers for use at its regional offices.

The Synergy 2 MD provides two full MLEs and an extensive array of available device control. Synergy MD works well in newscast, mid-sized truck and medium-sized studio productions. The Synergy 2 MD offers a multidefinition architecture, providing support for all popular SD and HD formats.

NRK will use the new switchers for the production of regional news programming.
