New upgrade for iView MediaPro

IView Multimedia has released a free update to its flagship digital asset management (DAM) program, iView MediaPro. It’s the first comprehensive update since iView’s acquisition by Microsoft this summer.

MediaPro is a customizable DAM application for importing, annotating, organizing, archiving, searching and distributing a collection of digital files. The update is free for registered users of MediaPro 3.x.

The company said iView MediaPro 3.1.2 delivered significantly better performance, including clearer error reporting and improved memory handling for both Mac and Windows users.

Changes and enhancements include: a more comprehensive action log that reports activity for more features of MediaPro; added support for cameras in PTP mode (Win); and batch rename now sorts as the view order and appends an incrementing number to the filename if filename clash occurs.
