New NEOCAST Media Player features modular firmware

Real Digital Media (RDM) is now shipping its NEOCAST Media Player GS. The new product will serve as the standard digital signage media player for the NEOCAST platform, complementing the advanced functions offered by the NEOCAST Media Player Z.

The NEOCAST Media Player GS’s firmware has been designed modularly in this release allowing it to easily port to other Windows-based hardware platforms. This, in turn, enables these devices to become NEOCAST-ready and available as part of a digital signage network operated by the NeoCast Media Server.

NeoCast Media Players enable customized content and programming for individual displays or scaled across entire narrowcast networks.
