Neutrik to introduce 32A PowerCon at NAB2008

Neutrik will introduce its enhanced 32A PowerCon for demanding current handling and power transfer required for high-power broadcast distribution systems during NAB2008.

Neutrik’s 32A PowerCon is a locking three-conductor AC connector system with contacts for line, neutral and premating ground. Well suited for high-power distribution systems and supplies for professional audio and lighting broadcast equipment, it replaces appliance couplers wherever a rugged solution, in combination with a locking device, is required to ensure a safe power connection. The system consists of a chassis receptacle and an in-line cable connector with locking mechanism.

The connectors fulfill all current UL safety standards and are UL recognized. The PowerCon is a connector without breaking capacity and should not be connected or disconnected under load or live situations.
