Marquis launches Medway Media Highway 2.1

Marquis Broadcast next month will begin shipping a new version of its Medway Media Highway interoperability engine.

Developed in response to client research, version 2.1 gives broadcasters a range of operational and business benefits to help ensure their workflows remain efficient even as new HD technologies emerge in the future.

Medway 2.1 features an improved GUI for faster access to information concerning the movement of media within the broadcasting environment. Users are presented with additional information showing the status of media moving to and from the Avid environment. This enables them to more easily identify when and where to purge storage, thereby maximising workflow efficiencies.

Marquis has also added new features based on extended use of metadata management. For example, metadata payload can now be individually mapped according to its destination.
