Livewire Digital rolls out M-Link Live!

Reporters in the field can now transmit high-quality live video (H.263) with accurate lip-sync to M-Link and talking-head servers without sacrificing the physical mobility essential for rapid news deployment by using LiveWire Digital's M-Link Live!

M-Link Voyager Lite is designed to operate on laptop computers running Windows 2000 or XP. High-quality video can be transmitted to the newsroom using store-and-forward technology.

Additionally, the same battery-powered laptop, cameras and microphones can now transmit live video to compatible equipment, such as the M-Link Live! receiver. The M-Link Live! can combine two Inmarsat GAN satellite terminals to provide quality video direct to the newsroom.
