Latest version of vsnIPTransfer changes contribution equation

At NAB2008, vsn introduced vsnIPTransfer version 2.3, the latest enhancement of its content exchange-over-IP solution.

Multiple Spanish broadcasters and carriers have performed diverse, exhaustive testing of the IP transfer product, according to the company. A variety of users in Spain, including TDI, Vocento and Localia, are using vsnIPTransfer for contribution content exchange.

The latest version of vsnIPTransfer adds the ability to integrate with any standard format, including MXF and QT-MOV, allowing integration with any existing workflow and server.

With vsnIPTransfer, the process of loading and downloading is greatly reduced to the point that files can be transferred via standard ADSL line. All content search and selection is done via interface that accesses metadata directly embedded in content as well as a proxy version, prior to a real-time transfer.
