Kulabyte to feature video encoding solutions

At IBC2007, Kulabyte will demonstrate the Kulabyte Professional video encoding solution.

Kulabyte Professional leverages the power of multicore video processing enabling professionals to deliver cross-platform content with noticeably improved picture quality and bandwidth savings.

Kulabyte Professional version 1.1 includes a full suite of input and output container formats and audio output, and provides support for H.264, MPEG-2, Windows Media 9 (WMV, VC-1, WM9 Advanced Profile, ASF) and FLV (Flash 8, VP6).

Kulabyte will also launch a full suite of encoding products — Kulabyte Enhanced Encoding — at IBC2007, which will include:

  • Kulabyte Professional 2.0 — two-core, for consumers and low-end encoding;
  • Kulabyte Professional 3.0 — eight-core, includes support for generic capture cards;
  • Kulabyte Professional 4.0 — 16-core, supports batch encoding, streaming Flash and one-to-many output streaming;
  • Kulabyte Professional 5.0 — server license supports Windows Server and provides support for all codecs, including JPEG2000.
