Konan Digital to feature DigitalArc for news, production

At IBC2005, Konan will highlight its DigitalArc for News, which gives journalists and producers access to physical and digital media assets.

DigitalArc is a completely streamlined all-digital network environment, specifically tuned to improve news production workflow. The system features precision search and retrieval, multi-channel cataloging and proxy editing, which results in dramatic productivity gains.

The company also will highlight its DigitalArc for Production. This system allows users to integrate one or more of DigitalArc's standalone components to improve workflow efficiency and create an all-digital production environment. DigitalArc for Production improves media production workflows by enabling project management and control, precision rules-based asset search and retrieval, multi-channel cataloging and proxy editing.
