Justedit adds effects to mix for journalists editing in low resolution

At IBC2004, Justedit rolled out its latest version of VSN News VM, the automated news production system for large production centers, with the addition of effects.

The latest version of VSN News VM lets journalists edit news simultaneously with effects in low resolution. Journalists can edit news clips in the Windows Media 9 format at very low bit rates with frame accuracy, allowing the application of special effects such as transitions, filters and multilayer editing, just like a high-resolution NLE.

VSN RF is the render farm that consolidates high-resolution projects edited in low resolution. Consolidation runs in a dedicated and stackable server for a quick air out of news to the VSN AirNews playout.
