IBC2004 show guide available for handheld computing devices

With more than 1000 exhibitors and a packed program schedule featuring seminars, technology pavilions and special zones dedicate to training and interactive television, it would be easy to let IBC2004 become overwhelming.

However, conference organizers once again are making available a free show guide that can be downloaded onto portable handheld computing devices. The guide presents exhibitor information that links to floor plans as well as the conference schedule and other helpful information.

The guide uses AvantGo's free interactive service. At the www.ibc.org, conference organizers offer easy-to-follow instructions on how to install the guide onto a Palm OS device or Pocket PC.
