Hypercable unveils Myriaplex MVDDS transmitter family

The new Hypercable Myriaplex full duplex DVB-MC/S2 transmitter family for Multichannel Video and Data Distribution Services (MVDDS) transmits and receives digital television and Internet streams from 300Mb/s to 32Gb/s in accordance with DVB standards and ITU recommendations.

The Hypercable Myriaplex 300 is capable of transmitting 160 HD (DVB-S2 MPEG-4) television channels and can be upgraded to 2000 HD channel capacity or 4Gb/s.

The Hypercable Myriaplex is designed for quick, on-air triple- and quad-play broadband wireless access networks and provides an easy upgrade to triple play and HDTV for existing GPRS-UMTS WiMAX networks.
