Huge Systems made its IBC debut at this year’s convention, showing several dual-storage arrays at the broadcast show for the first time in Europe.

The California-based manufacturer demonstrated the MediaVault U32O-R Max and U320-RX Dual Max RAID storage at the show.

The U320-R Max offers capacities of up to 1250GB and is available in four configurations, each providing at least 600GB of removable storage. It is available with a single (Max) or dual (Dual Max) Ultra320 SCSI channel configuration.

The U320-RX Dual Max, available as a four-rack unit or freestanding tower, supports up to two Ultra320 SCSI channels with a maximum of 10 hot-swappable disk drives. Scalable storage up to 2.5TB per array and the ability to daisy chain up to four Dual Max arrays makes available up to 10TB of total storage.

Huge Systems also announced that German-based Psiber has been named the company’s distributor for Germany and Austria, and Polar Graphics for the United Kingdom and Ireland.
