Harris unveils Platinum MX routing switchers

Harris has introduced the Platinum MX line of routing switchers, which extends the line of large routers into medium-scale configurations.

Designed for cost-effective configurations up to 128 x 128 in a compact 9RU frame, Platinum MX delivers the same capabilities and features of the larger 256 x 256 and 512 x 512 Platinum routers.

Platinum MX supports a mix of any signal — video and audio, analog to HD — all in the same frame. It also features built-in processing, which allows signals of different types to be internally converted from one format to another automatically as needed.

Designed with the same architecture as Platinum large routers, Platinum MX provides flexible control capabilities, redundant power supplies, controllers and cross-points and upgrade potential.
