Harris launches H-Class Media Business System

At IBC2005, Harris announced the availability of its H-Class Media Business System (MBS) Release 1.0.
H-Class MBS enables broadcasters, content providers and media developers to track their physical and digital media content assets. H-Class MBS efficiently tracks and bills the media through its end-to-end system for traffic, billing, scheduling and air-time sales.
The H-Class MBS Release 1.0 provides a library management system integrated with digital asset management and media ingest capabilities. H-Class MBS Release 1.0 uses content-derived metadata to connect the physical world of tape libraries with digitized media, to more profitably manage digital rights and to define and build content relationships for generating additional revenue.
