Glowpoint, HaiVision team up to deliver telepresence, interactive HD video

HaiVision Systems and Glowpoint are collaborating to deliver telepresence and interactive broadcast network video services.

HaiVision’s MAKO-HD provides H.264 HD encoding with 70ms of latency supporting up to 1080p resolution. Glowpoint’s global videocentric network provides the quality of service necessary for high performance video transport in terms of jitter and network latency. Glowpoint combines network quality with telepresence and broadcast service management from its Video Network Operations Center (VNOC).
