Fox Television Stations selects Sun solutions for sales, traffic

Fox Television Stations has selected Sun Microsystem’s Solaris 10 operating system, servers, storage and service to power its new centralized sales, traffic and programming management system.

By replacing standalone solutions, Fox stations will be able to monitor and manage the entire business process from sales to billing more effectively.

The project, including integration with neighboring systems and the gradual rollout across all Fox stations is planned to take less than three years.
