Fischer unveils HD camera fiber connector

Fischer 1053 HDTV connectors are a fiber-optic solution for mobile truck providers, production centers and broadcast studios.
Fischer Connectors has introduced a fiber-optic HD broadcast camera connector.

With its ease of use, quick and simple termination, ability to be installed quickly on site and a low total installation cost, Fischer 1053 HDTV connectors provide a fiber-optic solution for mobile truck providers, production centers and broadcast studios seeking to use fiber-based HDTV cameras.

Co-developed with Corning, the 1053 series combines the field-tested reliability of Fischer’s established broadcast Triax connectors with the proven technology of Corning UniCam fiber-optic (no epoxy, no polish) contacts. Eliminating the difficult procedure of polishing fiber-optic elements and the need to use special epoxies, the Fischer 1053 Connector makes it practical and economical to field-assemble HDTV camera connector in as little as 30 minutes.
