Fischer features extreme connectors

Fischer Connectors showcased its line of extreme broadcast products and accessories at IBC2009.

Whether it’s Fisher’s ultra-light AluLite connectors, the waterproof and rugged 1051 Triax or cable assemblies, the company’s products satisfy the requirements of many extreme operational environments. The goal of ultra-light UAV filming equipment is to enhance viewers’ experiences and place them in the middle of the action. This requires the UAV to float or fly over the action.

Every 100g saved in weight increases flight time by about one hour. So when Fischer introduced its AluLite series of rugged, compact connectors with 50 percent of the weight of standard metal connectors, the result is a better picture with lower production costs.
