Eyeheight to unveil playout compact master control switcher

Eyeheight will introduce its playout compact master control switcher to the European market at IBC2007.

The unit is housed in a 1RU intelligent dual-processor chassis and stems from the playout multichannel master controller. The product offers an increased feature set and is designed for automated or manually controlled systems. Up to eight playout compact units can be managed from a single control network. The design is structured around a flexible A/B switcher with full four-group, 16-channel audio facilities.

The company will also debut the Eyeheight enigmaHDi data codec, which allows program production and machine-control information to be sent invisibly through an HD-SDI channel. Applications include forwarding camera dynamics to CGI devices, embedding captions and delivering recorded-media details, such as aspect ratio, date, time and clock number.
