Eyeheight to introduce multi-definition products

Eyeheight will unveil four new multi-definition products for HD and SD applications, including a safe area generator, color corrector, keyer and legalizer, as well as a new SD multichannel source identifier at IBC2006.

The new safeEyesMDi multi-Def safe area generator enables producers, editors and telecine transfer facilities to ensure that the essential elements of their source material remain within the safe areas of a 16:9 television display.

The new Eyeheight canalettoMDi multi-Def color corrector is a high-quality multi-definition digital color corrector that supports up to 1.5Gb/s HD-SDI SMPTE-274 in and out and incorporates SDI auto-sensing. Each R, G and B channel has individually controllable gain, lift and gamma.

Other new Eyeheight products for IBC2006 include:

  • Eyeheight keyEyesMDi multi-Def keyer.

  • Eyeheight legalEyesMDi multi-Def legalizer, which accepts 1080i and 720p HD as well as 625i PAL and 525i NTSC SD.

  • Playout Application Suite software that enables Eyeheight's playout master control switcher, bugEyes logo generator and SQ-2 image-squeeze processor to be configured and managed from a standard PC running Microsoft Windows.
