EVS plays significant role in Asian Games
EVS provided a production workflow that enabled Doha Asian Games Broadcast, the host broadcaster of the 15th Annual Asian Games, to deliver a series of sophisticated applications to international broadcasters, including the media management of 42 different feeds and multiple broadcasts, real-time and daily highlights and finished edit and playouts.
More than 60 EVS XT servers were used for the production and playout of the games. Fourteen XT servers, combined with archiving and gateway devices XStore and XFile, constituted the central media server dedicated to the acquisition, production and archiving of the different media available for multiproduction and post-production purposes. Fifty-one IP Directors were used to control, log and browse footage in the media server.
