ENENSYS to display new mobile TV transcoder at NAB2008

ENENSYS at NAB2008 will showcase its new TransCaster transcoder, which converts existing TV content from satellite, terrestrial and IP networks into content formatted for mobile TV.

The TransCaster supports native MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 (video) and AAC-HE (audio) encoding at broadcast quality, integrates encoding and preprocessing engines and provides multichannel encoding in 1RU. Compatible with DVB-H, DVB-SH, ISDB-T and most other mobile TV formats, it features 4Gb Ethernet ports for data input, output and control, full SNMPv2 support and an embedded HTTP server for remote control.
