Echolab unveils latest Opera production switcher

Echolab has made available its Opera 16 x 16 production switcher, which features a 16-input chassis and provides simultaneous outputs of 16 SDI, eight composite analog and four component analog signal channels, allowing greater production flexibility and allocation of clean feeds and aux M/E outputs.

Advanced features available for the Opera production switcher include new floating internal frame synchronization and storage options for every input. This option eliminates the need for genlocked sources and external A-to-D converters, simplifying installation and significantly reducing overall system costs. Introduced earlier this year, a new FX pack adds DVEs, linear and chroma keyers and extended clean-feed and DSK functions.
