Echolab extends upgrade offer for Opera production switcher owners

Echolab has announced a special upgrade offer, which it’s dubbed the “Amazing Upgrade Offer.”

The offer allows current users of the Opera series production switchers to upgrade to a new Overture1SD or Overture2SD video production system, and the company will honor the upgrade program through April 17, the last day of NAB2008.

The offer increases the number of available switcher keyers to 10 in the Overture1 and 11 in the Overture2 system. With the upgrade, users can take advantage of a new DIP transition feature, built directly into the take block of each M/E. The transition allows an A-to-B mix through a third source or color generator.

Echolab's SuperSource layering engine delivers a precombined layer with three keys and background, serving as a solution for two-box shots with a combined-graphics foreground or background. Stinger keys incorporated into the M/E take blocks combine mix/wipe transitions with animated graphics.

See Echolab in NAB booth SU9607, or visit www.echolab.com.
