DVC to show ScreenDisk 64-BIT at IBC2004

At IBC2004, DVC will unveil ScreenDisk 64-BIT, a high-performance 64-bit media workstation for film, 2K, HD and SD.

Based on the Fujitsu Siemens Celsius platform and AMD Opteron processor, the ScreenDisk 64-BIT can be combined with Drastic’s QuickClip DDR or IRIDAS Software Solution to provide a solution for recording, grading, reviewing and playback.

Drastic’s QuickClip DDR application can be supplemented with Preview, the professional broadcast, film and post-production preview player. Preview supports playback of professional formats such as OMF, Avid DS/HD, DPX/Cineon, TIFF, MPEG-2 transport 4:2:2 and WMT-9.

DVC also will show ScreenDiskFSP, an uncompressed workstation with frame sequence processor for scientific visualization, 3-D and video compression research.
