DVC to highlight ClearView Screen Disk system

At NAB2006, DVC will highlight the new ClearView ScreenDisk system designed to visualize and play out as real-time video sequences — the results of software simulation.

As the components used in video signal processing get more complicated, it is vital to test all of the algorithms and procedures accurately before silicon integration to avoid costly mistakes. With high-performance workstations it is possible to simulate the signal processing in software without developing special hardware.

In split screen mode, ClearView ScreenDisk delivers two video sequences displayed synchronously and side-by-side showing the results before and after encoding. The zoom and scroll functions assist with finding and evaluating any picture artifacts quickly and easily.

The ClearView ScreenDisk can import and store almost any video format.
