Digita orders additional Net Insight gear for DTT network

Finnish radio and TV service distributor Digita has placed an additional order with Net Insight to support its digital terrestrial television (DTT) network in Finland.

Digita previously chose Net Insight's Nimbra platform to cover northern Finland. With the new order, Digita will continue to deploy the Nimbra platform in its DTT regional and national network. The equipment will be used to adapt DTT signals to Digita's existing transmission network. The order will be delivered during the first quarter of 2007.

The current Nimbra network has been operational since 2005 in northern Finland. Digita will now base the network in southern Finland on the Nimbra platform.
