Digi-Data to show archive management system at NAB2008

At NAB2008, Digi-Data will demonstrate its new Archive Management System (AMS), an open data archive solution.

Combining a fully managed nearline archive using open access and recording formats to archive, store, encrypt and replicate data, AMS provides users of any size organization with secure, scalable storage for their long-term preservation requirements.

As the AMS fills with data, the intuitive data management software scans and processes fresh data for archiving. Once the file is processed, a small, 400B stub file or data bookmark remains and the file space is automatically reclaimed and made available for new data.

Using a 256-bit key AES encryption, AMS securely transfers encrypted content to deep archive for data protection. Only an authorized AMS user has the encryption key.

See Digi-Data in NAB booth SU6805, or visit www.digidata.com.
