Crawford Satellite division covers space shuttle

The Crawford Satellite Services Transportable Earth Station division said last week it will provide live coverage of six shuttle launches scheduled for 2007 and 2008 from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL.

The company will provide transmission services for space shuttle feeds via three Ku-Band trucks with locations in Cape Canaveral and Jupiter, FL, and Wallops Island, VA, for one year.

The first of the six launches transmitted by Crawford included the June 8 STS-117 Atlantis mission.
