Chyron to feature HyperX with Lyric PRO

At IBC2006, Chyron will feature several recently introduced products, including its HyperX with its new Lyric PRO built on the company’s interFuse Technology and the HX200 HD/SD switchable character generator.

HyperX with Lyric PRO allows graphics to be created in pieces. An artist simply merges individual elements to create the final on-air graphic seconds before going on-air. Running on Chyron’s HyperX, Lyric PRO provides speed, power, real-time 2-D/3-D animation and SD/HD switchable capability.

The HX200 is an entry-level HD/SD-switchable system that supports all broadcast video formats as standard.

The company also will showcase:

  • Channel Box, an HD/SD switchable, turnkey branding system featuring 3-D design and controllable playout for branding applications
  • X-Clyps SD and HD/SD clip server
  • MOS solutions for newsroom graphics that integrate with popular systems such as Avid iNews, ENPS and Dalet
  • Dynacrawl HD/SD
  • Codistrator HD/SD, a digital telestration solution
