Chyron releases Lyric PRO 7

Chyron has launched Lyric PRO 7, the latest version of its graphics creation and playout workflow software, which is now available across the Chyron product line.

The latest edition includes a continuous graphics renderer and a new advanced text renderer that enable the display of virtually any font set, including Unicode and Complex Scripting.

The continuous renderer also allows the creation of multiple timelines, so animations can be taken on and off the air at will, while maintaining multiscene compositing on output.

Key features include:

  • FBX Importer, which delivers interoperability with Autodesk 3ds Max and Maya for the Lyric PRO authoring environment;
  • Adobe XMP metadata integration, which provides sophisticated graphics management;
  • Adaptable primitive geometry;
  • Pie FX, which applies real-time effects from GenArts Sapphire plug-ins and others to Lyric PRO graphics.
