Broadcast Technology to unveil Showman 1000 receiver, demodulator

Broadcast Technology will introduce several new products at NAB2005, including the Showman 1000 multi-standard off-air receiver/demodulator.

The Showman 1000 multistandard can be used with PAL, SECAM and NTSC television standards. It is designed for transmitter feeds and monitoring, OB reception and service acquisition.

Other new products will include:

  • DTMD1500: A COFDM modulator with broadcast-quality IF output; 2k and 8k carriers are supported, as well as DVB guard intervals and Viterbi FEC error-correction;
  • 3200 Series High Definition MPEG2 Decoder;
  • Skyline DataMiner, a fully SNMP compatible system allowing control of equipment from many vendors via Ethernet;
  • 3000 Series Modules: The DTAR3000 hot-swappable 8VSB-to-ASI demodulator designed for transmission monitoring and cable-TV head-end applications.
