Broadcast Microwave unveils small HD, SD digital microwave transmitters

Broadcast Microwave Services introduced the NT2423HD and NT2420SD digital microwave transmitters at the NAB Show last month.

Measuring 5.5cu in and 3.3 cu in, respectively, the NT2423HD and NT2420SD COFDM transmitters are well suited for POV links. Delivering power output of 200mW, the miniature microwave transmitters, the transmitters were developed by the company’s technical group in Europe.

According to BMS VP of business development Reinhard Kuehn, the NT2423HD and NT2420SD demonstrate digital microwave transmitters no longer “need to be bulky or hefty.”
