Bluefish444 has begun shipping its new SD|Fidelity, SD|Focus and SD|Prime SDI PCI Express video cards, which are compatible with popular nonlinear editing and compositing software products on Windows and Macintosh OS.

The cards are multipurpose uncompressed SD-SDI/analog video cards that offer a unique number of SD-SDI and analog video and audio I/O connections and options.

SD|Fidelity, SD|Focus and SD|Prime for Windows support the Adobe Production Studio suite of products, Windows Media Encoder, Autodesk Combustion, Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Eyeon Digital Fusion and other compositing and graphics applications.

They are bundled with Bluefish444’s Symmetry software application. Symmetry is an acquisition, review and playout solution specifically developed for graphic artists working with uncompressed video on Windows.

SD|Fidelity, SD|Focus and SD|Prime for Macs have PCI Express interfaces and offer Universal Binary driver support, making them compatible with Intel and Power PC-based Mac workstations. A unified driver supporting Apple Final Cut Studio, Tiger OSX and QuickTime 7 will ship for free as standard with all three cards.
