Blackmagic Design releases software update for its full range of video editing products

Blackmagic Design has released a new Windows-based software update of its full range of video editing products, including all Multibridge, DeckLink and Intensity models. This new Blackmagic Design version 7.0 software update adds support for Adobe Creative Suite 4 Production Premium as well as Premiere Pro 4.0.1 for Windows XP, Windows XP x64, Windows Vista and Windows Vista 64 platforms.

When using the v7.0 software update and Premiere Pro 4.0.1, users will experience a simplified workflow with better broadcast-quality video support and tighter integration between Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.

New features include enhanced RT effects in SD and HD in Premiere Pro, DV 4:3 and 16:9 capture and playback support, new Edit to Tape interface in Premiere Pro, After Effects real-time preview up to 2K 4:4:4 resolutions, and Photoshop export support up to 2K 4:4:4 resolutions.
