Belden releases CatSnake cable series for AV, Ethernet patches

Belden has introduced a range of CatSnake UTP cables for digital AV formats or Ethernet patches. These Category 5E cables deliver high AV performance and are rugged and flexible – ideal for outdoor use, broadcast truck applications and studios.

Belden’s range of field-deployable CatSnake Cat 5E UTP cables utilize Belden’s proprietary “Bonded-Pair” design, which bonds the individual insulated conductors together along the full length of the cable. This provides the cable with a uniform conductor-to-conductor spacing along its longitudinal axis, ensuring consistent impedance characteristics.
