Axcera to offer TeamCast FLO technology for mobile TV transmitters

TeamCast is now providing its FLO modulation equipment to Axcera, a provider of equipment and systems for the television broadcast, mobile media and broadband wireless/MMDS industries.

Under the new collaboration, Axcera will manufacture a complete line of transmitters and repeaters to meet demands for the deployment of MediaFLO services in the United States and other parts of the world. This agreement is supported by the terms of the software agreement between TeamCast and QUALCOMM for FLO modulation software embedded in TeamCast modulators.

David Neff, CEO of Axcera, said its new FLO-compliant range of products from TeamCast allows the company to quickly adapt to the needs of the expanding mobile TV market worldwide.
