Archion debuts Synergy storage system for LAN Share users

Archion, a provider of storage solutions for Avid NLE users, has launched Synergy LS‚ a new array specifically designed for customers using Avid’s LAN Share technology. The new product is available in a 4TB unit, with two ports supplying 2GB of storage each.

Synergy LS is engineered to expand the storage requirements of LAN Share users without the need to replace or upgrade their existing infrastructure. The system extends the usable life of current LAN share systems, while providing a greater ROI on storage investments. Synergy LS is fully compatible with Archion’s Alliance and Synergy storage products. The unit’s hardware RAID protects media in the event of a drive failure without the need to mirror.
