Apple to roll out enhanced applications for film, video professionals


Apple's Motion

At IBC2004, Apple will show a variety of solutions for film and video professionals for editing, effects generation, compositing, audio and output.

Among the Apple products to be displayed at IBC2004:

  • Final Cut Pro HD, a scalable editing tool delivering seamless workflow;
  • Motion, Apple’s new motion graphic design and production application with self-propelled behavior animation and character-by-character title animation;
  • Shake, which has been optimized for the latest hardware;
  • Logic Pro 6, which offers composition, notation and production for musicians and studios;
  • DVD Studio Pro, a DVD authoring application with new transitions, HD to SD MPEG-2 encoding, graphical view and professional audio format support, including DTS.

Apple also will show Xsan, a 64-bit file system for Mac OS X.
